The honey extractor is based on the principle of rotating centrifugation to separate the honey from the nest spleen. The rotating nest frame holder is located inside the barrel and when you rotate it at the proper speed, the honey inside the honey spleen is thrown away from the nest room and flows into the barrel due to centrifugal action.
Steps of Honey Extraction
1. Take the bee spleen first
Before shaking the honey you need to remove the bee spleen from the hive
Because there are a large number of bees staying on the hive spleen, this requires people to first spray smoke onto the hive spleen with a smoke emitter and then shake it.
If there are still bees on it at the end, then one needs to sweep them off with a brush
2. Cut off the wax cover from the bee spleen
After you have finished with the bees on the spleen, you can't shake the honey directly, you need to take a knife and cut off the wax cover that exists on the front of the hive before you can start shaking the honey.
3. Put the spleen into the honey shaker
Place the honey spleen with the wax cover cut off in the frame of the honey shaker, and then shake the honey shaker with a quick shake.
How to prevent being stung by bees
Gently open the lid of the hive and place the honey spleen on the outside of the partition, put the cloth over the hive, pinch the two ends of the honey spleen with both hands outside the box and shake it steadily for three or five times so that most of the bees fall in the box and do not fly apart.
Wait for a moment, remove the honey spleen and cover the cloth with a white duck wing feather to sweep off the remaining bees. The bees will be quiet when you return to the spleen after shaking the honey.
