Why Our Honey Blanket?
Honey's crystallization commonly occurs between 5 and 25 degrees. This process is actually natural and helps preserve flavor in your honey!
But beekeepers need to decrystallize it. To make honey get out from honey bucket easily.
To keep the nutrients in honey, beekeepers should heat honey slowly and evenly for a long period of time using a drum heater. Raw honey should not be heated much more than 43℃/110 degF.
The most important aspect of this heating process is speed. You's better make it accomplished slowly.
Honey is full of enzymes that are essential to our health. Not only that, but honey is also full of antioxidants and flavonoids. However, enzymes, antioxidants, and flavonoid content in honey are all dependent on temperature. That means, these nutrients are temperature sensitive. Instructions
Surounding the honey barrel with bucket heater, and stick it with the Velcro on both sides tightly. If the Velcro is not long enough, it can be tied with a string tightly. Do not overlap the heating parts. Otherwise, drum heater will be damaged.
Turnning on and off: The temperature controller will start running automatically after plugging in the power supply. Press the "OFF" to shut down. The operation light will be on after turning on, and the operation light will be off after turning off.
Adjusting the temperature: When plugged in, the screen will display the detected temperature. Press "up" or "down" to adjust the start temperature or stop temperature. After the temperature is set to what you need , wait 5 seconds and the settings will be saved automatically. The temperature parameters will also be permanently saved after power off.
In order to improve efficiency, you can open the bucket and stir during the heating process. When using the heater, place your bucket on a wooden board or on a piece of foam insulation rather than directly on a concrete floor for faster heating.
PS: When the temperature reaches the stop temperature, the temperature will continue to rise a few degrees, and then automatically power off. When the temperature is lower than the start temperature, it will continue to fall a few degrees before restarting heating. This is normal phenomenon of continuous temperature.
