- Once through, they navigate outwards and downwards through the angled tunnels of the bottom component, exiting into the brood chamber.
- The design of these tunnels makes it very difficult for bees to find their way back up into the honey super. Typically, within 24-48 hours, the vast majority of bees will have vacated the supers, leaving them ready for harvest.
