- The triangular mesh structure itself having a central opening for bees to enter.
- Escape Path: The triangular mesh escape consists of several nested, V-shaped mesh funnels. Bees can easily navigate downwards through these one-way funnels.
- Bottom Surface (Facing Brood Chamber): The underside of the board is flat plywood. Bees exiting the mesh funnels emerge underneath the board and cannot easily find their way back up into the honey supers.
